A DNA molecule will not have "U"'s in it (uracils), which means what you have posted is the RNA. You needed to take it back one more step and reverse transcribe to DNA.
You are also missing the start/stop codons and the random bases at the beginning and end. Was there a place we were supposed to start or just start decoding at the beginning (which is what I did).
